St Petersburg Weekend Tour 4 Days

St Petersburg Weekend Tour 4 Days
Day 01: St Petersburg

This is the first day of your being in St Petersburg. Make yourself comfortable in the hotel and have a good rest.

Day 02: St Petersburg

Today you'll start the great journey to the world of one of the largest and oldest museums on Earth - Hermitage Museum. It was founded in 1764 by Catherine the Great and has been open to the public since 1852. Its collections comprise over three million items, including the largest collection of paintings in the world.

Here is the list of the exhibitions you may visit: Egyptian antiquities, Classical antiquities, Prehistoric art, Jewelry and decorative art, Italian Renaissance, Italian and Spanish fine art, Knight's Hall, Dutch Golden Age and Flemish Baroque, German, British, Swiss and French fine art, Russian art, Neoclassical, Impressionist, and post-Impressionist art. This is truly amazing.

Day 03: St Petersburg

Today is your free day - walk around the town, see the common people. You are free to choose the way. Maybe you'd like to visit one of the parks of St.Petersburg - they are very beautiful.

Maybe you'd rather prefer to see some historical buildings like Saint Isaac's Cathedral or Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral, or maybe you'd like to walk down to Nevsky Prospect which functions today as the main thoroughfare in Saint Petersburg and where the majority of the city's shopping and nightlife are located.

By the way, don't miss one of the symbols of St. Petersburg: every night during the navigation period from April to November, 22 bridges across the Neva and main canals are drawn to let ships pass in and out of the Baltic Sea according to a schedule. This is beautiful.

Day 04: St Petersburg

St. Petersburg is an amazing city. It is home to more than two hundred museums, numerous parks and gardens, more than 80 theaters, 45 galleries and exhibition halls, 62 cinemas and around 80 other cultural establishments. There are lots of things to see but today the tour is going to end. Hope to welcome you again.
