Air Travellers Rejoice: International Check-In & Baggage Drop services at selected Delhi Metro Stations
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has introduced a new service to facilitate the check-in process for international travelers, enhancing the overall convenience of air travel. Initially available only for domestic flights, the 'Check-in & Baggage-Drop' service has now been expanded to include international passengers at New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro stations through a partnership with Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), Air India, and Vistara Airlines.
Key facts:
Air India provides this service to international travellers at both New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro stations from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Vistara Airlines international passengers can avail of the service exclusively at New Delhi station between 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
International flight passengers are allowed to check-in between 4 to 3 hours before departure, while domestic flight passengers can check-in from 12 to 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.
