Cruise Tourism in India: A Voyage of New Possibilities
The Indian Government has taken a big step to boost cruise tourism under the 'Cruise Bharat Mission' that was launched last year. The program aims to propel the cruise tourism of the country by doubling cruise passengers by 2029. India has a rich coastline with 12 major and 200 minor ports on across West & East borders with a network of more than 20,000 kilometers long navigable 110 waterways connecting around 400 rivers. Under this mission, The Union government has planned 51 new cruise circuits across 14 states and three Union territories by 2027. Viking Cruises has already announced its entry in India with Viking Brahmaputra, an 80-guest vessel scheduled to operate by 2027.

Jharkhand introduces India's first Mine Tourism
Jharkhand has always been known as Mining State, that accounts for nearly 40% of India's total mineral wealth and a powerhouse of natural resources. The state has now opened its mining sector for tourists, common men and educational groups. The visitors will be able to observe live ming operations form a safe distance experiencing a rare insight of mining technologies, environmental protocols and daily lives of miners. Delhi Intl. Airport introduces Live Music
