Asia's Largest Tulip Garden opens from 23rd March

India's First Underwater Metro begins in Kolkata
India has seen metro services since decades in various of its states. But the first underwater metro has started in Kolkata from mid of March this year as Kolkata is also India's first state to begin underground metro services. The two terminal stations are Howrah Maidan and Esplanade with a 4.8 km stretch in between. Kolkata and Howrah are connected with bridges over the river Ganga, now both the cities are connected underneath the river which is super exciting.
The under-river part of tunnel is 520 mts long and the train usually takes 45 seconds to cross it. Immediately after launch it has become a huge point of enthusiasm for the commuters who stood in long queue to get the tickets for the first train. Sikkim resumes flights
A delightful news for the travellers planning to hit Sikkim during summer holidays as the flight services will resume from Pakyong, the only airport of the state from 31 Mar'24. Spicejet will operate two flights daily, one originating from Kolkata and the other one from Delhi.
